Default Why G80 suffers from 2560x1600?

http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/..._8800_preview/
We can see that X1950XTX is able to compete ant even win against GTS in some games at 2560x1600.
What causes this? Maybe driver problems?

I can't see any problems here...

Sure, the drivers are probably a little "green" by now. There's always room for improvement.

What I find relatively strange is that AFR scaling of 2560x1600 is downright ridiculously good. If it was SFR, I could imagine it being buffer-size related, but... heh. It's strange, definitely - I guess it might be a driver issue, or I might be missing something about why AFR scaling is so stupidly high.

Maybe is that "problem": not able to 4x AA at 2560x1600, supposed to happen only in opengl.
I like ATI, but that made me skeptical. I hope they fix it asap.
