Default Widescreen Compatible

I have a Geforce 4 TI 4400 and want to buy an Dell 20" Widescreen flatpanel display. Does anyone know if my video card will suppport WS display?

yes.
it's up to the video driver to support it, adding the screen's driver may be enough, if not from the nvidia driver you can add the non standard resolution (1680x1050 or 1920x1200) used by a wide screen.

I was able to run the Dell 24" Widescreen off my Geforce 3. While 2D will work fine chances are you will have to lower the resolution because the TI 4400 probably won't handle the native resolution in 3D.

Great! Thank you for your quick replies.

Now another. My wife has a Geforce 4 MX 420 on her Dell Desktop. Same thing apply? The updated driver should allow me to set it up on hers as well? I'm thinking of buying one for her too.
