Default Where is the Tachyon G9700 Pro Monitor Utility?

Hi all .

Finally got it.

Now where is this monitoring utility? This is what Tyan says on their website:
Quote:
The Tachyon G9700 PRO is the only RADEON 9700 PRO-based graphics card on the market with hardware monitoring! The Tachyon Graphics Monitor is a user-friendly system monitoring utility that allows the user to monitor and regulate fan, voltage, and temperature.
http://www.tyan.com/products/html/g9700pro.html
No said utility on cd as far as I can tell. I did load ATI drivers and Tyan supplied drivers and Control Panel on the disk - - - No Monitor Utility. I downloaded the latest Drivers from Tyan and Control panel from Tyan and no Monitor Utiltiy.

Anyone knows where this Monitor Utility is? One reason why I bought the Tachyon G9700 Pro.

Anyone know???

Thanks Doom,

Thats the software, it wasn't on my CD-Rom I got with the card. Downloaded off the Internet and installed. This is what it says:

WARNING: This version of the G9700 PRO card is not enabled with hardware monitoring.

huh??? I didn't know Tyan had a version without hardware monitoring. It is a full retail version too. Bummer man but still the card works flawless as far as I can tell, looks like it will overclock to 380/340(680) alright. Higher it starts to have problems. I havn't really tested it out fully yet. Let you know more later.

Well Doom, read here:

http://www.tyan.com/support/html/tgm.html

There are two versions, one done in late 2002 (the one I got) and the one done recently. Note the date on top of page, which is after the date I ordered my card, bummer. I would have bought a FIC if I knew there are two versions (wouldn't payed the higher price of $360 for the Utility anyways.). I was thinking of doing a kickass review of it, oh well more time to game I guess. Somewhat mad at Tyan over this, still the card looks pretty high quality so I will probably get over it.

Ya bummer Noko..still a nice card..you would pay $30 US for a decent aftermarket cooler, so factor that in.
My 9500 NP is going back, going to get a 9700.

I hope you get a good overclocking card out of the Radeon 9700. You can pick up Radeon 9700 Pro's (OEM) for around $275, especially on Ebay where I've seen them go for $250, so you might want to consider that. I was really hoping for the TGM ability in which then I would have voltage moded my card with a reostat and pushed it to the limit. I have an outstanding cooling setup right now with my case. I can pump in up to -12c right over the video card .

Ahmmm, IQ and speed? There is nothing like it out there, I would say top notch. I have a T Bred B XP1700 overclocked at the moment to near XP2400+ speeds and it cannot keep up with the Radeon. This is ATI at their best and kicking some major ass as well.
