Default SiS joins FM BDP

Wassup wit dat? That fabled DX9 part going to show up finally? Their recent AM2 support announcement didn't even include Mirage 3, so I've been more-or-less ready to pull the plug on the life-support on that one. . .

Edit: Someone in IRC suggests this might be a by-blow of the ATI acquistion of XGI from SiS. . .

well, this is a Mirage 3 ! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Mirage_IIICZ.jpg

XGI was basically SiS + Trident, and ATI bought the Trident part. so do they revert to the SiS brand? or is this only about SiS chipsets?
wasn't SiS/XGI supposed to give up PC GPU cards and concentrate on embedded/mobile GPUs (which seems strange to me, as already everyone is making mobile GPU : ATI, NV, PowerVR, and even the Bitboyz)
