Default x1800xt to x1900xt -> reinstall winxp?

Do I have to reinstall windows or clean drivers in order to upgrade an x1800xt to an x1900xt?

Thx...

Jeez I would hope not! Just use a drivercleaner app and install!

No, you don't even need to use driver cleaner. Uninstall the ATI drivers using the ATI uninstaller, remove X1800, install X1900, startup, install ATI drivers.

Hell, I switched 2 mobos, three CPU's and three gfx-cards along with loads of other stuff and all that without a single reinstall. Works fine so far, no probs whatsoever.
