lol. i thought i hated the hack and slash sorcerer genre too. till i discovered that RPG's (SP) have probably the most gaming goodness, depth, 'real'ness, immersion, etc of any game type out there. anyway the stuff i think is most important seems to be in those types of games.

something about those D&D types i guess. they LOVE the game....not just the cash. which is just reward for all that work!

woot.

Video hasn't evolved to the point yet where it can rival my imagination unfortunately.

Icon Idea Hmm...

And there I was wondering why I was so bored today.

Boring waves do travel very well in space, I see.

By the way, the game is said to be as optimized technically as was all the other Elder Scrolls.
There goes JohnReynolds dream of a game with a solid technology for the first time from Bethesda.

Oooooh look, we've found a heretic. May we burn him? To say this about that, they really put themselves under the microscope this past weekend with that *BIG* press review and not once did I see "bug" or "crash" mentioned...

Figures, I haven't heard any snow reports from Hell.

But seriously, this is both good and bad news. The good news is obvious. The bad news is that I can't currently afford the upgrades to play this game like it deserves to be played

It wasn't intentional, I just did a Google image search for "hooray" and I just liked the pic. No offense to alzheimers suffers intended, honest!

Fall I imagine. Initial previews show zero performance benefit, and a small falloff actually lol. DDR2 800 is on the way to make it a teensy bit faster than 939 I'm sure.

All right, all I know about this game is that it's an action rpg. Is the game an mmorpg though or is it just super gigantic?

I wouldn't really call it an action RPG. It's an RPG, through and through, in that the primary focus is going to be on building up your character in a huge, living world. It's just that the combat has been made a bit more fun since Morrowind.

It's purely single-player.

I do somewhat hope that this time around, your character will actually be capable of affecting the world to some extent, like other good RPG's. But it probably won't happen this time, either.

Is it easy to get into? The gameplay I mean, not the story.

I'm sure it'll still be possible to fall through the world, don't worry.

Besides, vysez is a known elder scrolls-hater, pay him no mind at all.

Meh, I can't get really excited about a fantasy RPG. I'm just not into magic, at least not if it involves handwaving, uttering cryptic words, summoning demons or such.
