Default Hopping fps in Far Cry

Playing Far Cry in some situations fps is hopping. For example: in one moment fps is 40. I don't move my mouse and the graphical intensity is the same. After 2 -3 seconds fps reaches 55fps.Why it is so?
I'm using the latest 1.33 patch. My hardware: Athlon 64 X2 3800+, GF 7800 GT(400/1000), 2x512Mb 333, DFI Lanparty Ultra-D, X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS...

Dual Core CPUs are experiencing strange stuttering problems with games. Our friends at the hardocp forums may have a resolution for you:
