I am not sure if you are aware, but sometime this week the Live Marketplace is going to be loaded with items including free game demos to download for Kameo, King Kong, Live 06, Need for Speed, FIFA 06, etc.

I was wondering what good guess-timates of the file size for these might be. I am assuming a demo like the Kameo one would be around 500-650 Meg maybe? Do you think they will use different compression or lower textures or anything?

Free demos is so cool, I just wonder at their size.

so we had a beta menu where each game which were also betas was stored on the hard drive and it was launched manualy by a file named default.xex (xbox had default.xbe) and the entire game was in that file.... kameo was around 1.5gb, pd was 500mb, and nhl 2k6 was 6.4gb.... kameo and pd were obviously demos
