My roomate uses a radeon vivo64 that I put in his amd kt266 ddr 1.8 system. With all other games I'm not having gamma problems and I've tried the last 3 driver sets available. This is WinME. I've mussed with the color temp of his monitor, some generic decent 17" relatively new, brightness and contrast; as well as ingame gamma of Warcraft3 and game gamma of the ati drivers.
The game is super dark. Darker than some games used to be with Nvidia based cards a few years back. As in dark, that I have to boost the brightness to max and gamma of W3 and game gamma to at least 150%. Which makes it look like washed out crap. He sees the same thing I see so it isn't just my eyes. No issues with SOF2, gamma is fine in 3dmark, NWN, and all the other games. Just warcraft 3. On my gf ddr/quadro ( which means using drivers for it is a pain -29.80 currently ) gamma is fine in warcraft3 Is anybody experiencing the same problems? |

not with my RadeOn VIVO, neither my RadeOn 8500...
But I use both on LCD screen if that matters.
