For those that are interested I’m trialing a new forum, the 3D Graphics Boards and Drivers in the PC Forums category. This forum is intended for a little more free discussion on current 3D graphics boards (or upcoming boards based on current technology), driver changes and support – these types of discussion have occurred in the past in the 3D Technology and Hardware however they tend to have been a little frowned upon. So, discuss away.

As for the 3D Technology and Hardware forum it, along with the 3D Architecture and Coding forum, have been moved into a ‘3D Graphics’ forum, potentially not limiting them solely to PC 3D graphics. I’d expect to see the usual rounds of rumor and speculation on upcomg 3D hardware in the 3D Technology and Hardware forum as well as the slightly heavier in depth debates over 3D tech.

The new board and naming is confusing. Why did you bother with the poll a week ago? 86% voted to leave things as they were. If you want to keep 3 forums I suggest changing the names to "3D Technology", "3D Coding", and "3D Hardware and Drivers." 3D architecture and technology seem the same to me and 3D graphics boards is hardware so there is too much overlap with the current names.
