I don't think Nintendo has done Spaceworld since 2001

I expect a good Xbox 360 presence at TGS. more playable games, first major glimpse at game builds running on Beta hardware perhaps ?

Correct.

And Nintendo wasn't present at TGS 2004 either. Instead they prefer to do city tours with their products. Third parties are free to showcase new products for Nintendo platforms, however.

Also, I believe the first playable PlayStation 3 titles will be showcased behind closed doors at TGS.

Well, MSFT is having that conference on July 25. I'd expect a lot of new footage there. For Japanese games atleast

I'm really looking forward to seeing more footage of the japanese games

Yeah the last time they did a Spaceworld show was the unveiling of GameCube. So if Spaceworld is ever going to return then it will be this year with the unveiling of Revolution.

I don´t think it´ll happen that way. Sony stated that they would follow a timetable similar to PSP: hardware at E3, games at TGS. Besides, where else would they get the chance to hype up their games? PS3 will be launched at least in a major territory in spring 2006, so they need to have people aware of what software they have.

Agreed Sony has to have some games playable at TGS or I will start to get scared. I just wonder what games will they have. I going to go out on a limb and say our buddy DeanoC and his co-workers will have Heavenly Sword playable at TGS. *gets on knees and starts praying*

I'll preorder two PS3s if KZ looks and plays like the video at E3. One for myself a the other to sell on ebay for $750.

I doubt, Sony will need nor use the next-gen KZ for the TGS. Their japanese 1st/2nd/3rd parties were kinda quiet at E3, TGS will be their gig with their crowd.

IMO showcasing a FPS at TGS - of all places - is one of the most irrelevant things any console maker/studio/publisher can do.

What about Sega's FPS (Fifth Phantom Saga)?
