I was just noticing something in Conkers Live and Reloaded for the Xbox. When you stop playing and conker starts to occupy himself (with yo-yo etc.) at one point he pulls out a mini game and you can hear the music and sounds from it much like the Sabrewolf level in the background. I also think I hear some of the (Jego, Jango? not sure on name exactly ) characters voice but at a much higher pitch.

Anyone think this maybe a hint from Rare that the Killer Instinct franchise may be returning on the Xbox 360? I know its a theory and I think it might be in the list of games here for the Xbox 360 on the forum but is there any hard evidence out there to support that it is?

Wasn't it already confirmed that Killer Instincts and Banjo were headed to the X360?

It's never confirmed until it's announced, and they have not been announced.

But really... There's the KI bit there, it plays more than just that one stages song too (i've heard spinal and fulgore level music) then there was also the KI 3 boxes or something in grabbed by the ghoulies.

In the beginning of conker in the main menu, you can see banjos head on a plaque on the wall

I would -so- kill for a KI3

There was also the "Video game" package of KI3 in Grabbed by the Ghoulies. So maybe they're pretty much confirming it with all these...easter eggs.

Or... they could just be teasing the crap out of the fans.

Err, the Nintendo 64 version already had that, Conker was playing KI on GameBoy there.

Rare likes easter eggs and teasers, but of course they'll make a new KI and Banjo-Kazooie eventually, since they Microsoft will want a return on their investment.

The KI and Banjo cameos were in the original Bad Fur Day though.

BTW, Rare did make a new Banjo Kazooie on GBA.

Ah GBA, the only platform which actually managed to earn Rare some money over the last years.
