TRATEGY FIRST PARTNERS WITH POCKET PC STUDIOS

Montreal, Canada. June 14, 2005. Software publisher Strategy First, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Silverstar Holdings, Ltd. (Nasdaq: SSTR), and Pocket PC Studios are happy to announce a new contractual relationship that will make Strategy First's PC titles available on the Nintendo DS.

"Our strategic partnership with Pocket PC Studios will allow Strategy First to enter an exciting new gaming market," said Pro Sotos, Manager of Business Development at Strategy First, Inc. "I'm thrilled to have the chance to make both the Jagged Alliance and Disciples franchises available on the Nintendo DS platform. The Disciples franchise is very close to my heart, and I look forward to playing it on Nintendo's newest handheld system," said Sotos.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for Pocket PC Studios and Strategy First to bring these phenomenal titles to the Nintendo DS platform," said G.R. Moore, President and CEO of Pocket PC Studios. "We will utilize our expertise in bringing high profile desktop games to mobile devices to expand the Disciples and Jagged Alliance franchises onto the hottest handheld console since the Nintendo Gameboy."

"Our agreement with Pocket PC Studios is further evidence of the excellent work being done to revitalize and expand Strategy First's business. The expansion of our existing franchises onto the Nintendo DS platform marks a major step towards a broader diversification onto new hardware platforms" said Clive Kabatznik, CEO of Silverstar Holdings.

The Jagged Alliance and Disciples franchises will be the first Strategy First titles developed for the Nintendo DS platform. Watch for more news surrounding the games releases on the Strategy First website www.strategyfirst.com .

O.K., this might not be big news for most people, but for a chosen few (including me) this is like Christmas and Easter put together with birthday topping...

JA2, GREAT game.

Interesting that such a mature title would make it over to a Nintendo product.

DS is targeted at business men too with its stylus based RTS games.

Well, given that the NDS is the first handheld console to feature a strategy friendly user interface, I am expecting more RTS & TBS games to be released on the system.
Just like the GBA was used to port a lot of classic SNES games, the DS will see lots of rereleases of old strategy classics (AoE, JA, Black and White, etc.).
Nevertheless JA rules, hopefully they port JA2 or sg based on the engine and weapons of JA2, since it was much more complex than JA and JA: DG.

Well JA2 is QUITE violent (though of course this doesn't imply that the DS version will be at the same level). Also there are the more mature themes of extreme poverty (shacks, people running around in t-shirts and other dirty clothes), prostitution, an adult video store, etc.

Again, this doesn't imply that the DS version will be as mature as JA2 but imo there is a level of implied maturity by using the franchise.

I was just kind of shocked that Nintendo would allow this franchise. /shrug.

Well Nintendo had RE4 as an exclusive and they also said they wanted GTA series on GCN too. Anyway I guess it's somewhat of a shock when you think about what Nintendo traditionally allows during the 16-bit days.

They stated they want GTA? Whoa. Now I am VERY surprised. Perhaps this is a new Nintendo?

Wow I am not the only one excited about this news... 8) Then again JAhadists might be a little uncommon in the console realm...
