Tom's Hardware is reporting that someone figured out how to extract ISO's from UMD's to memory stick.
http://www.tomshardware.com/hardnews...08_133051.html Right now there's no way to run them off of memory sticks, but Tom's says there apparently will be a utility released that allows that within days. This is all only on 1.0 PSPs, of course.

last week , the tool to extract umd contens has leaked to the general public, thats why it comes as some "news" by now |

How big are the UMD images? I only have a 512Mb stick so far....

So this hack lets you run unsigned code from a memory stick? What about running signed code like PSP games? Most of them will fit on a 256MB stick.

only 2 images are bigger then 1 gig. a lot of those games are surprisingly very small
