Default Actual BF2 Game Play Footage Not E3/EA Hyped Trailers!

There is a 440 mb so called (high rez) movie of actual BF2 game play footage. This is not hyped up E3, or EA trailers. This is the best example so far that I have seen of how BF2 will play. So far I only know of this file @ FilePlanet for subscriber members only. If any1 happens to find it anywhere else i'll be happy to update the opening post with the new links. But for any File Planet subscriber member, here is the link. BF2 Real Gameplay Footage

Edit. Looks like IGN might have sectioned up this large File planet movie & maybe have more footage in small portions. The file planet vid is from IGN. Grab the vids here. http://media.pc.ign.com/media/677/677882/vids_1.html

Couple of complaints I have so far from viewing it 1 time are.

#1. Jets are still pretty slow compared to there real life counterparts. This is something that really annoyed me in BF:V. The jets moved so slow that they really should have never got off the ground.

#2. Most likely a bug but in the video the guy who's view we are watching @ 1 point gets a boat & drives it very far inland till he hits a tree. @ 1st I was like WTF!?!?! But then he hit a tree & jumped out. If it wasn't for the tree I was wondering exactly how far inland he was going to go & how well it was going to drive on land....

it's not a flight sim, so the map areas are pretty small compared to how fast planes really fly, don't you think it's a game balance/fun decision??

I'm sure its a game balancing issue. But the greatest advantage a Jet has is moving very fast. If it can't move very fast (doesn't have to be actual real world speed) then its a pretty easy target to hit thus being a fairly pointless addition to a game. & In BF:V the Jets were almost pointless given the very small fly area even at there insanely slow speed. They certainly were not hard to hit much less bring down. & we really don't know yet just how big a 64 player map is. If the maps are anywhere near as big as Joint Operation maps when 64 players are allowed then that would leave a heck of a lot of play area for very fast Jets compared to slow BF:V Jets.

In 1 vid I watched they explain that the Jets have ways of making some missiles miss. But even so. How many of these things will a pilot get, & how many people will be shooting at a Jet remains to be seen.

Yah, such scales are best left to flight and/or war simulators. *recalls his days of playing Falcon 3.0*

You get flares/chaff. From the videos it seems to work really well.

And unlike Desert Combat, Jets must fear Anti Air units (like the Tunguska) and other jets, and that is it.

Some of the other videos show that the jets, while not jet fast, are pretty nimble and fast. Much faster than anything else in the game. There will always be limitations and compromises, but my experience with BF:V and DC was that a good pilot could really rule the air, and thus their team the ground.

Think of the jets as really fast prop planes with lock on missiles and counter measures

I never seen a BF:V Jet pilot rule anything. A Huey can take out a jet any day & a Cobra? Forget about it.
