Is it me or is there absolutely nothing worth playing around right now?
KOTOR II seemed like more of the same, so I gave it a miss. Just finished Brothers in Arms, which had some good moments, but didn't really inspire me. I fortunately got Pariah cheap... and I suspect Boiling Point is likewise bargain bin material. I did like Republic Commando Still have Rome TW installed, so may finally get stuck in, but what else is on the horizon? When's the Far Cry expansion due? Or Omikron 2? Or the next Morrowind type thing? Do I really have to go MMORPG for something interesting? There's not really any point checking games sites, as nothing's happening... |

World of Warcraf, and Guild Wars are nice.
GW is good for those who dont have the time to develope the char, and love PVP. WoW will take suck your all of your time, and life right trough your bones :\

IF your a RTS fan there is a new Rise of Nations coming out that looks like it might be intresting...
Another RTS game that at least the demo was kind of diffrient in a good way is Medievil Lords: Build Defend Expand, by Monte Cristo. Batman Begins isn't a PC game, but it looks like it could be intresting. I like what I have seen from Fantastic Four so far, and thats coming out for PC. Company of Heros looks like it might be intresting... E3 starts tomorrow, so keep your eyes and ears open, I'm sure were going to be hearing a lot soon. |

I'm currently having a lot of fun with Lego Star Wars, great little game, especially if you've got someone to play it co-op with.

Hmm. Perhaps I should have mentioned a genre.
Whatever I tried The Longest Journey, but everyone speaks s..o... s...l...o...w...l...y... and she moves s..o... s...l...o...w...l...y... that I just gave up. Morrowind had it's moments. I didn't get into it like some people, but I'll pick up the next one. I was vaguely hoping Boiling Point might have similar appeal in a conteporary setting, but first impressions don't seem great... |

Rome Total Realism mod for RTW currently on 5.4 but soonish to be 6.0 (a big advance)
Will make the game tolerable for longer. In similar vein, not yet released but with better historical research will be Europa Barbarorum. RTR started out as a fairly quick bunch of fixes and went frenetically through many early versions but has settled down to bigger less frequent releases now. EB has generally been the most looked forward to & was intended to be big & beautiful from the start but has not yet released anything & I suspect by the time they get a release, RTR will be right up there in quality, just with different interpretations of often scant history. |

If you haven't played it yet, Chronicles of Riddick for the PC is a great game (and should be quite cheap). Guild Wars is probably a good bet if you're into action RPG's. If you got Doom 3, and still managed to like it somewhat, the expansion pack should be good.
KoToR2 isn't really more of the same, I don't think. What it is is unfinished. The first half of the game made me think it was the best RPG I have ever played. The second half was a downhill slide.

Guild Wars.
3rd character, started GvG, still not halfway through the game, but I like to try a lot of combinations. Multiplayer Action RPG madness !

as much as I loved KOTOR... Jade Empire absolutely puts it to shame. yeah, I know it's Xbox-only, which makes me cry, but thanks to brother's modded Xbox, I have been playing it constantly for the past day or so.
