I was wrong, nobody is safe!

Even worse, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie:

RR for PSP looks good, but I think its a decent step down from GT3 in terms of geometry, lighting and texture quality.
Its based on my impressions of the two games... My view might differ if I had them side by side.

We all know GT3 is doing more, but the end result is the lasting impressions on the gamer that matters.

Its like arguing ICO is prettier to other games technically pushing more poly, etc... I can't be bothered in starting one of those threads.

Its arguable what outshines what... but its the screen in which us gamers interface with, thus its the strongest impression. I agree the response time is not the best, but only in some if not rare occassions you'll notice it. Actually if a movie or clip is made for the PSP, these minor flaws can be minimised.

(Actually, could make for a decent ad campaign to toute the PSP's ease-of-use: "Even Paris Hilton can operate it!". Damn, bet Jobs is fuming he missed out on that one to promote the Mac Mini.)
She probably uses it to watch her own homemade porn videos.

MBX has been available since 2003.
MBX? Forgive me, but what is MBX?
It's possibly the leading portable 3D rendering technology. There are a number of chip companies that you might have heard of that are using it inside their own products and they, in turn, sell on to device manufacturers.

and if I heard the actual product name I'd recognize it right away. If not, then perhaps this goes to my other point, which is that few companies are able to successfully bring to market a high-performance, mass-market portable like PSP - and garner enough support for it to make it relevant. Certainly, this one isn't ringing any bells with me.
There are going to be PDAs and phones with PSP-like performance so it all depends if you consider those devices as mass-market.

PSP, 3 games and 1 gig memstick.
That's what I'm planning to get if the PSP ever launches in europe.
Ok, there'll be some accessories as it ´likely will be the "Value" pack.

I can't think of 6 games that I'd really want. My wanted games are RR, Lumines and Wipeout Pure. They'll do me fine for several months.
The 1 Gig stick should be good to hold two movies so that'll be enough for toilet pron.

So I took my buddy's PSP for a whirl last night... and in one word and a single point of punctuation...:

AMAZING!

I won't repeat everything that's already been gushed about (ie: screen quality/size, analog nipple, etc etc - it's all rad), but what did strike me as incredible is the "sleep" function. We were watching The Amazing Race, and everytime a commercial would come on I would pick up the PSP, flip the power switch, and I would be right back in the middle of where I was in WipeOut Pure. THAT is amazing!! Lunch hours/subway & street car rides will never be the same again..

Highly recommended!
