Default Unlocking pipes on pcie x800pro

Finding an x800xt for less than ass raping prices is near impossible, finding x800pro vivo pcie cards is not. I know the core on the pcie cards is a tad different than the agp counterparts, so I was wondering if anyone has or know anyone who has unlocked the extra pipes on their pcie x800pros.

TIA for any info.

I'd imagine it's possible, in the same way the AGP version can be modified. I must admit though, I didn't even think the SKU existed at first

He's got a pci-e card, all the previous talk were about the agp version. I haven't seen anyone do it with a pci-e vivo, maybe check the forum for atitool (link).

I stand corrected. I missed the PCI-E part. You are right, I haven't seen anyone talking about a PCI-E unlock.

I don't actually have the card yet ( I actually just went and picked up an x700 from fry's to hold me over until I can figure out what I want to do). I found a couple people asking about it in the agp unlock thread on anandtech but nothing was ever answered. I guess I'll just wait a couple more weeks and hope the x850xt or 6800gt pcie start showing up and are at decent prices.
