Yeah, the evidence is overwhelming. It is obvious that the game (released before the fall of communism!!) was a last ditch effort to "get them while they are young." to try and create some level of compassion for the cause of communism. I find this picture of "Mario" raising the communist star and lowering the peace flag quite telling..

That's why I always play The Great Giana Sisters. The last defenders of capitalism and Fuzzy Hairs of 80's

too bad that they were shot down by Nintendo lawyers. (but it made original package as an very rare collectibles. Original Commodore 64 Casette version is the only version really sold on shops and it was pulled off 2 days after the release.)
