Vantec TMD fans - mine just died
Damn fan... I bought one like a year ago ($25) it just started to rattle like drillhammer.
I've tried to repair but to no avail, after 5 mins it started to rattle again... so I've ditched it (actually destroyed it  )No I've got a really cool fan from the very popular NoName brand $8, and guess what it's quieter and it's better at cooling my cpu, it just ain't so stylish... guess i'll never buy vantec fans again... or TMD fans for that reason...

I had one die too. They are quite unreliable. I did some reading online about them after mine died and apparently there was a recall.
