Default New post shortcut

Hey, I was wondering if I'm the only one having issues with the new post "button". Instead of taking me to the most recent post, it takes me back to the last most recent post. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Are you staying logged in? Try logging out first.

Yeah, I'm staying logged in. You shouldn't have to logout and log back in to grab the latest post though. It seems kinda ridiculous if that's the case.

You can wait for it to time out but, to be honest, I prefer the current scheme. If you accidentally close a window it will at least take to you back to where you started reading - and after a weekend that can be quite a number of pages.

Well, that part of it I have no problem with. I'm just annoyed at the fact that I have to scroll through posts or click the latest page to find the most recent posts, rather than simply clicking the icon and being taken there like on other forums.
