I've been shamelessly listening to a lot of 90s shoegazer stuff lately. My Bloody Valentine, Chapterhouse etc. It is so calm and so chaotic at the same time

I'm listening to that stuff now.
https://soundcloud.com/trinityandbey.../trinity-mixes

Alright, I'm still a bit trying to understand how soundcloud works but I'm almost getting it. I got to this track first, which was some kind of great and calm Trance (while looking for something else entirely)
I recommend it
https://soundcloud.com/trinityandbey...ity-and-beyond

Then playback continues, switching automatically to related other tracks. Not necessarily the same artist, and here it wasn't and that's usual, but the stuff is incredible competent at finding music of similar style and quality as the previous one.

Did I mention the website only contains freeware music, good quality, no ads, continuous playback for hours on and is functional even without an account?
(I guess an account allows to bookmark the stuff). It still plays the music if you wander anywhere on the site, leaving what you were looking at. Only there doesn't seem to be an UI showing your "playlist" ; and I have trouble finding what music I'm listening to right now.

I guess soundcloud isn't exactly unknown. I have buddies's works there too, which I've yet to listen to (one has published eight tracks, he had an empty account not long ago ; another one has added a half hour mixtape from another side of the world.
I'm finding the local scenes there too

I've decided in my generosity to introduce B3D readers to the Majesty that was Prog-Rock
With Bill Bailey's Top Ten Prog Rock bands

Part 2 (part 1 has bad sound quality)

Part 3
Where else apart from Prog would a singer have his own £2,000 persian carpet
