Default My eternal custom painted and sleeved PC project

Planned the outlook of painted P193 with mspaint... http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/2240/p193punanen.jpg

Painting starts... This was almost 2 years ago.
Front panel: http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/2499/etupelti.jpg

Finished painting, added sticker to hide where the painting failed. I need to redo the painting of the side panel once more eventually.

After stripping an Antec Truepower 1200W modular cable of the sleeve it comes with, it looks like this:

Le grand plan: http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/9024/problemq.gif

So I have to sleeve around these Powercache capacitors. Fun challenge!

There was a lot of sleeving. I think I did like one cable every week during some free evening when the wife and kids were gone somewhere: http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/9861/noniin.jpg

Cutting cables when I had to...http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/5301/leikattu.jpg

And when you need some soldering to be done, you look at me... and then you look away: http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/1266/soldered.jpg

But the ugly can be hidden somewhat with heatshrink: http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/1699/sleevedone.jpg

Standard fans discarded, some Noctuas had to be painted too.

Overlook of the internals of the case before adding gpu

Adding GTX690 DC2 that I finally managed to purchase today: http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/9...0619161015.jpg

You could do it better, but you´ll forgive a first time sleever.
Maybe if I just clean this up a bit with compressed air, it´ll look ok.: http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/5624/20120619162046.jpg
(the other pci express card is a 240GB Revodrive 3 if you´re wondering)

Any thoughts?

It says power cache in on picture Davros, looks like a decoupling capacitor.
I'd always be careful with the soldered cables, looks like you didn't add a strain relief. I am no EE but I wouldn't want one of the wires to become loose and that tape doesn't look safe either.
Redo it and shrink wrap them with shrink tube like shown here. The guy says lighters don't work well, I've done it with a lighter:

Also I am not sure how you soldered them together, but maybe try it like in this video. I read that wrapping a separate wire around the part you solder is supposed to add strength. In the video he omits it, but when I did it like that I couldn't yank the wires apart again by hand:

Then again, soldering isn't the right way for stranded wiring I think. Crimping would be better, because the wire becomes stiff as the solder melts into it under the insulation. Shouldn't be a big problem for this I guess.

Nice painting too.
