Subject title is very vague, I know...had to fit something in there :P
Ok, I was a little unsure where to post this, but I figured that since it's pretty much gaming related, i'd throw it here and see what I get. My question is...I play a number of remakes of older games that are pretty much forced to run at 640x480. The main game i'm focusing on here is Mario Forever. Now, it does have a fullscreen option, however fullscreen 640x480 on my 22" Trinitron is utterly painfull on the eyes. I can clearly make out every individual horizontal line running down the screen and even at 100hz, it feels like i'm watching someone play Counter Strike at 60hz back-in-the-day. So, point being, is there any way to force this app to run in fullscreen mode, but at a res higher than 640x480? The game window can be resized, but it just created black borders and keeps the game itself at 640x480. Trying to beat the world record for MiniX is practically impossible in a window, let alone eye-gouging fullscreen 640x480 :P Any help greatly appreciated, thanks!
