Ozone is so great...

Btw: again not youtube video, so no inline linking, but here's a blurb on Engadget about a (veeery dramatically produced and directed) NASA video about the "seven minutes of terror" and all the steps that have to work to land their Mars Curiosity Rover on...err...Mars. It's quite a lot of stuff, and if all of them work it will be just SO UBER COOL.

Check it out here: http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/25/n...ous-mars-land/

Hopefully stuff like this can get some western kids interested in science and research and studying and going to school again, rather than trying to become internet famous by being jackasses in youtube videos and shit like that.

So dinosaurs aren't real?

Elephants and Giraffes aren't real either...

You actually believe that shit? Please...

Dude, go check out how thick an elephant's bones are. Or a big dinosaur's. Also, elephants actually can't run. At all. Because they're too heavy in comparison to the strength of their muscles and skeletons. They always have three feet in contact with the ground at all times, so even when they run, they more like trot at a quick-ish pace. Any person as big as that skeleton indicates would be a slow, lumbering monstrosity liable to break his own hipbone were he to ever fall on his ass. Also, we would have found more evidence of such humans, had they actually existed.

Btw, how's that perpetuum mobile guy doing with his electricity-generating motor? You fall for the stupidest of bullcrap, man... Hey btw, I have some prime Arizona beachfront property, AND a bridge for sale! Interested?!

@Grall,

So, the question that bothers me is... Do you really believe you evolved from monkeys? Really, you believe that shit?

Oh, come on, humans, don't allow them to wash your brains! It's time to wake up.

I think you're in need of some education in remedial biology.

Common ancestor which you basically don't know what it was but in any case is a "monkey-like creature" if monkeys are its descendants too.

My idea is that the general idea about human evolution is ridiculous, funny and shitty at the same time.

Take it to RSPC if you want to argue in favour of a magic fairy in the sky that makes everything happen. This is not the right thread for it.

Says the guy who doesn't know that Work and Force are not the same...

You really should ignore subjects you know nothing about unless you like to look like an idiot...see above sentence.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gigantism

FACT big fat people have bigger bones as the weight causes the bones to grow bigger and stronger, same with TALL people. Have you compared bone size of really tall people vs normal people? Why do you think tall people and fat people have big bones? Why do you think Zero Gravity causes bones to get weak? Yeah that's what I thought. Still weighting...pun intended...for the bones to collapse upon itself myth...LMFAO.

Apparently you flunked highschool physics AND biology...

Speaking as a physicist, it offends me greatly that you would quote Einstein in defense of ignorance and idiocy.

Please. You're linking to gigantism to support that ridiculous fake youtube video? Lol. That head's what, four-five times larger in volume than a normal human head? That's not gigantism by ANY definition, that's fraud. Anyone who isn't a wacko can see that.

And regarding work/force, that was regarding gravity, which you claimed was a source of energy that could perform work, which of course is not true since gravity is not a source of energy, because that would mean gravity would be performing work, which it ISN'T. Work requires energy, and there's no transformation of energy being involved with gravity other than what you yourself put in, ask a fucking physicist if you don't believe me. So stop taking those stupid pills, you just look more and more ridiculous right now.

I see you keep avoiding the topic of the infinite energy motor guy. How's he doing, has he revolutionarized (no pun intended) industrialized society yet? If he has, I sure haven't noticed it. You sure he isn't a complete lying-ass dog??? Btw, in addition to the Arizona beachfront property and the bridge, I also have a 200MPG carburettor to sell you. Interested?

And you apparently didn't notice that the so-called giant skeletons are all just scaled-up versions of normal human skeletons. Grall's criticism is spot-on.

When backed into a corner you always resort to the predictable knee jerk reaction of creating strawman arguments... Nobody is linking gigantism with those giant skeletons as to its authenticity. The point is big skeletons don't get crushed under their own weight...why you ask? If you payed attention in biology class you'd know. Bone size and strength grow according to the weight and stresses they undergo...they don't collapse under their own weight...it's a myth...get over it. Please try to pay attention ok?..

Err...

Gravity = Force....any moron can figure out that any force if properly harnessed can be used to create energy...just because you think W = F doesn't mean the rest of the world flunked high school physics...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydroelectricity

"the production of electrical power through the use of the gravitational force of falling or flowing water"

That's right gravity (force) which is essentially free is used to create electricity (energy).

The guy is still doing the experiments why do you care? You failed highschool physics AND biology remember? Why the sudden interest?

I'm sorry but a guy who doesn't know the difference between Force and Work has no business trying to rally kids into going to school and studying science...you aren't a very good role model...

Ignorant and idiotic is the maintsream science which forces people to be like cattle and to know almost nothing.
Don't tell me that the big corporations transfer their knowledge to the mainstream masses.
Don't tell me that most of the textbooks don't contain idiotic stuff written through someone's glasses. That's why there is something like "History is written by the winners".

And please, be more carefull, because of such ignorant and idiotic humans we are still nowhere and the gap between the corporations and the mainstream grows larger.

Genes are important but what makes people evil, stupid and ignorant is the environment they are put in to grow. If you are surrounded by idiots and there is much manipulation by media, politicians, school, etc, then there is a tiny chance for you to escape and not be part of the herd....

Effing LOL (unless you're an arachnophobe, in which case you probably won't laugh.) Daddy attempts to catch a biiiig, very fast spider while his little daughter tapes him...and then the predictable thing happens and hilarity ensues.
