VF5FS looks very clean on the PS3. Shame about the audio, though.

Found a couple 360 shots as well: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost...&postcount=968

Both are 720p with what looks like FXAA (different implementations). The shots aren't identical (stage lighting), but it does seem like the PS3 version misses out on a number of edges though the blurring is a tad stronger when it detects them. Judging by the character textures, the 360 doesn't look like it fares any worse.

In motion there seems to be a weird ghosting effect. So maybe TAA could also be in use.

can you tell something about the color depth? I just saw the 360 version at a friends house and it kind of looked 'flat', I don't know how his tv was set up so I can't comment on that.
(that is, if color depth has to do with the framebuffer, otherwise, feel free to create a new topic for this and move the post there, or something to that extend)

The only major difference I could tell was that the glows are significantly fatter/worse on PS3 around stage lights in the tournament arena with the crowds; there is certainly more cyan to the blooms, but that's actually... bad. Seems like an issue of buffer format. The above PS3 shots would seem to indicate a low precision buffer for the bloom, colourful and white clipped as they appear. Would have to see more comparison shots, so I don't really know what you mean by flat. There is also the issue of gamma (very slight difference), so that could be affecting the colours all around as well - "greyness".

Seems possible.

No idea. My complaint doesn't lie within the lack of surroud sound here anyways (if there even is a lack of surround sound). It's with the horrendously low fidelity of the sound samples. It just sounds incredibly cheap and tinny.

Plenty of tearing as well, at least during cut-scenes.

Anyone here who would be able to figure out the native rendering resolution and AA of the "Risen 2: Dark Waters" PS3 version and Xbox 360 version from what apparently is shown over there for example:

I Just downloaded the side scrolling title "Dust: an Elysian tail". It's by far the cleanest art based game I've seen out for this moment.

Almost 40 minutes of gameplay can be found here.

Art based game makers of Blaze blue, and Hard corps uprising should switch to this format, almost hard to know what rez this is.

This is confirmed to be 720p.

Well, it has some compression artifacts but I did some pixel counting and it looks native 720p, to me. On AA, I can't tell, I only know they did a good job on this.

Let's wait for the more experienced users...

Around but some things came up lately.

CS looks like FXAA 720p.
Risen 2 seems to be 1152x640. Captures might be making it blurry, but there is no AA.

they're definitively doing some funny stuff in these screenshots

first shot is 1920x1080 has xbox buttons probably their internal pc build with a 360 controller
the other shots are all ps3 1280x720 none of the images indicate any AA.

then there are these images where the interface is at a much higher resolution. where either they are faked, or combining frame buffers of differing resolutions which i doubt.

Those shots all appear to be native 720p with no AA.

However, the game seems to operate using dynamic resolution framebuffers when motion blur is enabled:
