Default 3D Lightmap generator?

Is there an Open Source or commercial tool that can generate Lightmaps in a 3D texture format as used in the following Demo:

I think vray does it

Udk might do it
and I think the cryengine can do it too

I don't have in depth understanding about these software and their use but still VolView seemed good. Thanks for sharing Davros.
