Retailers have made their own bed, they can hardly complain when PC shoppers don't want to lie in it with them.
Even my local Best Buy, a full-sized store, has cut their PC shelving down to basically a glorified kiosk. Go to pickup a major PC release a week after it comes out and it's almost out of stock because the store orders so few units these days. I'm probably at 80-90% of my purchasing coming from Amazon or DD.
