6970/50 AF quality - what's the verdict?
I've not been able to buy a 6970 myself yet - my PC monger didn't receive any boards this week, so I can't check myself.
Have any comprehensive studies been performed yet? I'm very curious if the shimmering has finally been conquered or not... Also, what about GPGPU performance? For folding, AMD chips have been vastly inferior to their nvidia counterparts for whatever reason, this both for CAL/Stream and OpenCL clients. Is cayman doing any better here?
