Default R.I.P CJ - 1976-2010

I'm very sorry to inform you that yesterday, October 4th, the man everyone knew as CJ passed away after a month long sickbed.

Obituary:
http://www.mensenlinq.nl/mensenlinqa...6/14271442.jpg

For the past few years, CJ ran an ATI topic over at tweakers.net which was THE source of information on upcoming ATI products.
link (in Dutch.)
Condolences topic @tweakers.net (Dutch, registration required)

CJ was working as a Technical PR Officer at MSI since last year where he was heavily involved with Overclockers and events like Digifest and met a lot of you at CeBit and Computex.
MSI will be releasing an official statement later today, since he was heavily involved with media, customers and end-users around the world.

He was a great, knowledgeable and humorous colleague and I got to know him a lot better as a friend.(Up to a point where we discussed work more than I spent time with my wife, yes I know, unhealthy.) We are all devastated by the loss and our thoughts go out to his family and friends, who will surely miss him.

Much like ChrisRay earlier this year, both shared a healthy interest for hardware and both rather talked about video cards than think about going to the hospital to recover.
His last public message on Facebook confirms that much:

I, personally, will always remember CJ and ATI as a two-unity and I will remember him every time I see Radeon somewhere.

I'm devastated,

Dennis

Wow, that's terrible news, I was hoping it wouldn't end up like that

Collective B3D condolences go out to everyone who knew him, industry or otherwise, especially his family, neliz, and his extended family at ATI and MSI. Rest in peace, dude.

Yes, he was CJ over here too, he's also known as T-Spoon on other forums like Rage3D.

It's a sad day for those who were close to him, and for video hardware fans.

Goodbye CJ, thank you for sharing your enthusiasm with us for us so long.

That's terrible. Didn't know he was sick. Seemed like a nice guy. 34 years old, that's scary.

I don't know who this man was - never heard about him until this thread - but my deepest sympathies for those of you who did.

Of course, not knowing if this had a contributing effect of his condition, but please, everybody stop and consider the extremely harmful effects of bacterial resistance against antibiotics. If we over-use antibiotics like we are today, very very soon, they will cease to have any effect whatsoever against diseases.

Even modern surgery as we know it would be greatly affected; vital transplants and prosthesis operations included.

So for the love of all that is holy - do not use antibiotics unless you relly need it, and try to avoid stuff like farmed fish, poultry and meat where animals were raised using routine use of antibiotics. Also, do not use antibacterial ANYTHING in the way of household products, including deodorants, detergents, handwash and dishwashing liquid and so on as this strengthens bacterial immunity.

Do NOT buy antibacterial PRODUCTS either - including silver nanoparticle shit - such as whiteware, kitchen utensils, socks and underwear and so on.

...Or else we will all be in very grave jeopardy, and lots more people will pass away much too young from pneumonia and other otherwise treatable diseases.

Thank you for your attention. Sorry for soapboxing like this, didn't mean to threadjack or anything.

Damn... one of the really good sources for info/leaks that almost always was correct, I always was on the look out for one of his posts.

RIP. My condolences to his friends and family, as well as his extended friends and family through the forums and his employers.
