Gamersyde & B3D XBL Party: Friday March 6th
Hey guys, this coming Friday (13 Feb) I would like to get a group of guys from B3D and Gamersyde together for some Halo 3. I will be on after 7pm PST.
All are welcome but I especially want to see some of you "Gods of Halo" onlne. Likewise if you are willing to give some feedback on my gameplay I would appreciate it. I am doing some testing of a new hardware and like some test subjects who I know who can give some feedback + with Matchmaking it always pits me against people my skill level so I would like to see how I fair against some better players (athough all are welcome!) Yes, this is about the Xim2. This is your chance to embarass me to the 100th degree... or to validate your concern that PC gamers are cheaters and ruin console games. Lose-Lose! . ***EDIT: A good recommendation seeing as I posted this at both sites is we turn this into a friendly challenge of Gamersyde versus B3D!***

Idealy I would limit the experiment to situations that show how much I stink because of my skill and not my lack of playing a certain map.

In the few games I played with you, you seemed to be doing fine with your "cheater" controls, LOL. Seriously though, if you really want to test your ability aim quickly and accurately, play some Team Snipers. |

Yeah, I had a blast even though as usual I was fodder.
I was trying to get some practice in before Friday since it's been a couple of months since I played H3. I plan on getting on tonight after I finish some homework and dinner with the wife, probably after 8 pm CST. |

Found out that this now just priced drop to $39.99 new ($34.99 used) so it just made picking this up again much easier.
I'll grab it today hopefully and see if I can practice a bit before the event.

I may not even get a mic since you seem to have so much fun at my muted expense. Question does anyone have the Legendary map pack? should I get it? Also, will we be playing any tactical games like CTF etc? I started to get a little warmed there finally (it's been a while) and got creamed in a couple of social games later with higher ranked players. I went into a couple of Ranked games and actually enjoyed myself with people who were no higher than a 6. If we get enough it would be cool to play 4 on 4 B3D only games too.
