Default 845G/GL/E info on The Inquirer

http://www.the-inquirer.com/11050201.htm

Interesting with the TV-out/DVO card that sits in the AGP slot.

Seems to NOT support DDR333 - at least not officially. According to Toms Hardware it should, and giving really good performance (at least when paired with a GF3 card). Check that here (845G is the "future chipset 1", earlier it really said 845G but I guess Intel forced Tom to change it).

Anyone heard anything about the 3D-performance of 845G? One number I saw was half that of GF2MX400!?!

Hmm, if this is true, the built in graphics of the 845G will basically be useless for the latest/upcoming games - just as what was the case with the 810 chipset. They should have learned something.........
