But can we force AA in NFS: Hot Pursuit or are the 11.1s still the latest ones that have this "feature"?

You can use RadeonPro to force it in 11.2.

Ran Heaven benchmark, 3dmarks11, and Just Cause 2, seem to be a 3% improvement compared to 11.2.

Nope didn't work for me Damn you AMD!! let me enable AA back in NFS:HP!

What did AMD change (starting with 11.1a) that now prevents AA to be forced in Hot Pursuit? Seriously, this is annoying.

Where does Catalyst installer save the install log-file?
The drivers installed, but said there was warning during installation, but the view log button didn't work at all.
I suspect the warning could be related to my background picture which didn't keep it's scaling settings for some reason.

After reboot, CCC2 is working like it should, and background picture is scaled properly too.

With these and 11.2 drivers can't get DVI to work.
Locks computer on boot, keyboard unresponsive and no display.

Go through VGA and everything is fine.. anyone got any tips on how to resolve this issue?

This is on both Windows 7 32bit and 64bit, fresh installs.

One of my engineers has this issue on a 5xxx series board. It happened after an update and he has not been able to resolve it. It would appear that more recent AMD drivers have trouble reading the monitor info over DVI. Annoying.

I've heard others have had the same issue of installer saying there was a warning, but their logs (which did work) haven't shown any errors or warnings anyway, and just like for me, the drivers work without issues despite the warning on installer.

To be fair to AMD, this is a preview(Beta) of a driver that isn't going to come out for over a month. It's gonna have broken stuff in it.

Good point. I don't know if my engineer's issue includes locking up or not...I seem to remember it wouldn't post on DVI after an update but was fine on vga. I'll ask him.

Ask him to try the caps lock and scroll lock keys after the HDD stops whirring on load.

New issue:

Note the text, seems to have a filter applied to it in MSN Messenger and Firefox but not in IE9 or SRWare Iron - GPU and CPU version (Chrome).

WRT filtering it looks an awful lot like MorphAA on in game text ? Strange.

Yep that's clearly MLAA enabled, don't know if it's the programs or drivers fault when it gets applied to certain windows programs too.
So disabling MLAA should fix that.

Same here. Happened to me in windows media center and turbotax. Disabled MLAA and both programs displayed properly. Weird.

Some more info regarding the issue with a digital connection not working.

1. Worked with HDMI and DVI to my monitor on Catalyst 10.12 and before.
2. VGA has no issues at the maximum resolution of the monitor.
3. Monitor is a Digimate 22" jobbie (seems to have a high end panel in it though as the viewing angle is superb horizontally and vertically).

It is also definitely that changed and caused the issue. Whether this means the graphics card has a slight fault or the newer drivers are buggy I don't know.

Rest of the system is as follows:

AMD Phenom II X2 550
Asrock 880G Extreme3 motherboard
4GB DDR3 1333MHz Crucial RAM
2TB Samsung F4 HDD
FSP 700W PSU (changing that tomorrow or the day after hopefully to a Seasonic model)

OS

Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit and have tried it with my copy of 64bit Home Premium too.

No display and keyboard and mouse "locks" during loading of operating system - keyboard and mouse connected via USB.

Hope this helps someone recreate the issue should they need to.
