Hi;
Does anyone know if the Motorola RAZR V3x has 2D/3D hardware graphics acceleration? If so, what is the chipset used? The specs and some comments on other knowledgeable blogs seem to imply that it does have hardware graphics acceleration but nothing more detailed. http://www.motorola.com/motoinfo/pro.../0,,95,00.html (I posted this same question in a Moto forum but with no reply) Thanks |

ATi's Imageon was licensed by Motorola for similar product, so I'd suspect the RAZR V3x uses that if I were to guess.

Motorola's 3G team have been using NVIDIA's GoForce 4000 chip, and thats what this one uses.

Ah, so that change is what Motorola meant by "enhanced graphics processor".
The GoForce 4000 isn't a hardware 3D processor like the 4500 and 4800, though. Last edited by Lazy8s; 17-Dec-2005 at 19:06. |

Hopefully we won't have to wait too long now for the Freescale i.MX31 to get into production now that should be a decent MBX enabled 3D SoC.
