What is this nonsense. Vsync causes HUGE input lag problems. I can't play any fast paced games with vsync, the experience is just horrible, it takes all the joy away.

Good PC's were running Oblivion with way better...

Good PC's were running Oblivion with way better graphical settings - espercially with mods and .ini-editing - than any of the consoles did. Huge differences.

Also, when comparing how GTV IV etc....

That's not very trustworthy review. For exambple, look Oblivion scores with 8xAA & 16xAF @ 1920*1200 compared to @ 2560*1600. According to their review, it's 5fps faster with 2560*1600.
