Future ATI Graphics Chip Plays Key Role in Intel Enterprise Workstation Platform Demo

ATI's next generation graphics was selected to be part of an IntelĀ® Xeon(tm) workstation platform technology demonstration at Computex featuring the newly specified Accelerated Graphics Port 8x interface (AGP8x) designed to double the graphics processing bandwidth over today's current AGP4x. ATI's as-yet-unannounced graphics chip offers advanced, high-performance graphics power for workstations. As a validation partner for AGP8x, ATI's chip is the first to be demonstrated on Intel's future workstation platform based on the Intel Xeon processor family.

ATI's RADEON IGP(tm) 320 integrated graphics processor now shipping on FIC AT31 FUSION motherboards
