Hint to everybody using Outlook for serious matters: think again.
Even if mozilla is not perfect, at least you can disable html rendering in preview panes.
I'm glad to see MS is finally getting sued for producing insecure software.

well I have to say Outlook 2003 is a LOT better... I can report that in teh preview it does not automtically allow html code - you have to specify that individual email to be allowed by default... much better.

Outlook XP SP2 can do this too. (view as text only), but you'll have to set this in the registry

In Outlook you can let the preview pane not download the mail automatically. I've been doing that for a while with my bulk mail now and I get less spam and no virus warnings...

It's even in Outlook Express 6 SP1 (Tools -> Options -> Read tab).

The question should be:

"How many times does Outlook crash before you can apply the changed option?"
