Lets be optimists and say that it'll be out in early 2003. =)

Too be honest. I thought Unreal Tournament sucked and well, I don't like playing by myself so single player FPS' are out. My problem with UT was it was too slow (gamespeed) and easy (Quake3 is harder).

Well, since DOOM3 will certainly be the talk of the town around here when E3 starts tomorrow, we'll just go ahead and get rolling with a quote from one of the id Software guys to freak you guys out. Here's what Marty Stratton said yesterday in one of our links:

In fact, the game looks so amazing that one obstacle we face is making sure people know that what they see is NOT pre-rendered. Everything we are showing is running in real-time in the game engine -- there aren't any special tricks or CG cut-scenes -- this is how the game looks. You won't believe it until you see it -- and even then you still may not believe it.

I am waiting the E3 report.
I like very much single player FPS.

Thanks for the link, Pascal. Game sounds interesting. Just hope they can match Clive Barker's Undying for atmosphere. My wife didn't like Undying, since she would hear the occasional, "Sh*t!! God d*mn it!!" from the computer room while I was playing. I'll never forget going into a bathroom, looking in the mirror over the sink, seeing a ghost standing right over my shoulder, and spinning around with weapon pointed at empty air.

Coming from a rather odd source though, not that it matters :-)
