In a comment to this Joystiq article (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/17/ea-finally-responds-to-forum-bans-also-banning-origin-game-acces/#comments), the commenter claims Origin will "delete" any (Origin, presumably) game you haven't played for 2 years. I presume it would just be uninstalled from the harddrive, and not nuked off of your Origin account, although with EA you never really know, do you?
In any case this is the first I hear of this particular trait of Origin's; I've heard about the full scan of your harddrive, which I wonder if it's entirely legal; it sounds awfully invasive, but deleting games too, is that going a bit too far you guys think?
I know I sure won't buy any Origin games, not just because it's mainly just another me-too digital download service, but also because I frankly don't trust EA. They just can't help themselves not committing some heinous act of computer molestation of their customers, it's in their genetic makeup. If they remove the global scan of the harddrive thingy, who's to say they won't come up with some other evil shit to replace that down the road? There's no guarantees!
