I want to present our latest movie 'Sands of Fire'.
Sands of fire is a Battlefield2 Machinima that has been in the making for 6 years.

What makes this Machinima so special, so different from other respectable Machinima is that we changed the look of the game completely. Everything has been changed or added in post-production, from the smaller details (colors, ambience) to the addition of bigger effects (explosions, 3D Animation, blood,...) all in function of the story, we tried to max out every single frame. And this was done in vanilla Battlefield2, no mods were used.
So eventually, We put a lot of effort in the post-production, explaining why this movie took so long to make. Not only did we spend a lot of time in creating the final movie, we also spent a lot of time in the trailers, work-in-progress movies, featurettes, wallpapers and other pieces of art.
Remember though, the original Battlefield animations look a bit old.
You can see a Trailer here:

Visit our Blog, where you can read about the history of it's creation and to download the final movie.
The movie is 43mins in length and is encoded in MP4 format. We're working on a streaming link, this will be provided at a later time.

Sands of Fire has been finished and released! We kept our promise and did it before BF3 comes out.
This movie is our final goodbye to Battlefield2.
So bring on Battlefield 3!
Enjoy the movie!
