Doom 3 Engine

Hello! This is my first time posting on these forums, but I have been reading and learning from here for quite some time. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of a somewhat technical discussion of the doom 3 engine. I'm really interested in what carmack is doing here, but I've been out of the loop for a bit. I did a search on these forums and wasn't able to find anything.

There were quite a few discussions one these boards. I suggest doing thread searches, you'll get some clues there and at which point you can research the various aspects of the techniques used.

Thanks saem. I suppose I didn't search hard enough. Doom 3 returned pages and pages of topics that were simply too much to sift through. Doom Engine on the other hand gave me pretty much what I was looking for :oops: :D
