B3D and drinks at GDC 2010?

A few B3D regulars and I (TheBaron, Charlie Demerjian, nAo, etc.) are either in town or attending GDC. We were thinking about putting together an event in the evening, sort of a B3D meet up. I know that ban25 lives in town, and I expect quite a few devs to be visiting.

Who would be interested in getting together for a few drinks and maybe dinner? I'd probably try and organize something on Thursday or Friday night.

Anyone game? If so, please respond to this thread, or shoot me an email.

I have an event I'm organizing on Thursday. Depending on how many people we have, we could just merge the two. Or if there are a lot of people, then we could just do Thursday and Friday!

So here's the plan - we'll be meeting up at 8pm at the Thirsty Bear in SF. The thirsty bear is at 661 Howard, between 3rd St. and Hawthorne. It's a great venue and we should have a number of folks showing up: nAo, thebaron, Charlie Demerjian, etc.

I'll let the maître d at the front know where we are, and I'll try and also make sure we're reasonably visible and distinctive. I will be wearing blue jeans, a brown button down shirt with tan stripes; I will probably pull together 2 tables and try and tape a sign to one of the chairs. Charlie will be with me, and he looks like this:

Unfortunately, a few of our attendees bailed...but we had 7 or 8 people show up and everyone had quite a good time!
