JC nonchalantly says (http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/59326) he wants to do the megatexture demo on iPhone himself. This seems to be an excerpt of a larger interview Teh Shack is publishing later today.
He already mentioned it a while ago during his progress report on Doom Classic

The fact that people are downloading Myst on the iPhone is heartening -- I have ideas for leveraging our high end idTech-5 content creation pipeline for a future iPhone game, if people will go for a few hundred meg download.
Ok he didn't explicitly said MegaTexture at that time but "idTech5 content creation pipeline" plus "a few hundred meg" left little doubt on what he was thinking ;)

Thanks, I must have glanced over that part when I first read it.
The whole interview is up (http://www.shacknews.com/featuredarticle.x?id=1156), thanks for the heads up Richard, even if there is nothing groundbreaking in it, it's still an interesting read. Didn't know that Graeme Devine was now working at Apple, that's good news for game developers on the iPhone, he will certainly improve the platform resolving some of its shortcomings :smile:
