I hope so, as I just started on getting my BS in computer engineering. I kinda want to work in the graphics area, so i hope that there is a good jobs market for it.

Entertainment (games or movies) is probably the best field if you want to specialize in graphics. However, there are other fields doing interesting visualization work -- a friend of mine went to Cooliris recently and you've probably seen their new approach on web browsing...
