Some one please help! [Archive]

I am trying to play the tony hawk pro skater 4 demo, but I can't cause it runs too fast. I am not kidding, its just running too damn fast. Its like watching a timedemo in quake3, but trying to control the damn game at those speeds.

Any one have any suggestions to fix this? I have tried vsync on and of. Tried locking refresh rates... still no go.

My systems specs are:
Pentium 4 2.4C @3Ghz (1Ghz FSB), Abit IC7, 9700P with all the latest drivers possible.

Lol, I just got the demo in the mail, it plays faster then normal, but not THAT fast. You must have a kickass machine!(cool demo)

Really, it ran way too fast.

I finally found a fix. If you enable TV-out, the game plays at normal pace. I like to play on my TV anyway.... with a game pad, its like having a PS2 with better graphics.
