Havent heard anything about DM, but what about support for multiple monitors, HL2 is a game Im starting to feel will have more of an impact in the games industry than D3. Hope the people at HL2 add support for multiple monitors.
later,
Heard the same rumour on MURC but have no idea where the poster got it from... It was the first I heard of it.
But HL2 surround gaming if done properly would rock (provided the performance on the Parhelia was good enough).
In fact, using DM would in theory allow the parhelia to use adaptive tesselation, which ought to allow performance to be significantly greater than if it was not used. Here's hoping...

That rumor comes from the half hour E3 presentation. In the technology demo part the Valve spokesman pointed out the features of the engine which include such things as displacement mapped terrain deformation (very early in the video). I suppose they can support this both through hardware (Parhelia and DX9 class hardware) and software (DX8 level hardware and below) though. As for multiple monitors, I have no clue...

After watching the half hour E3 presentation. My mouth salivated at the thought of having multimonitor support for this game. Does anyone here know if we have members who are part of valve?
