Hi,
Anybody running Fedora 8 on a PS3?
I've got plenty of duplicate RPMs ppc and ppc64.
As far as I understand the PS3 can run as a ppc32 and ppc64.
But Fedora 8 does not seem to allow for both in all cases
For instance
1) alsa-lib-devel: I've got installed the version for ppc64, and when I try to add the version ppc I get an error because both RPMs provide the same documentation in the same path
2) I've got installed gdb-ppc and gdb-ppc64 but they both report to provide /usr/bin/gdb which in my case is the ppc32 version. And I can only debug ppc applications. Not ppc64.
How is it supposed to work?
The only RPMs that seem to coexist are the ones providing libraryes, since there are 2 different directories /usr/lib and /usr/lib64.
