VIA have finally launched their Isaiah CPU, which was first announced in 2004.
Big improvements vs. the C7 come in the form of Out-of-Order execution, 64-bit extensions and SSE support while being electrically and thermally compatible with existing VIA platforms.
Initial parts are 65nm and single core, with dual-core and 45nm products to follow in the future, Ars Technica has a write up here (http://arstechnica.com/articles/paedia/cpu/via-cpu-isaiah.ars).
