View Full Version : Iraq-Israel pipeline
Any links about it? http://www.guardian.co.uk/oil/story/0,11319,940109,00.html
Looks like the oil will be flowing faster than what many expected: http://www.guardian.co.uk/worldlatest/story/0,1280,-2596318,00.htmlWithin six to 15 weeks, Iraq's southern Rumeila oil field, one of the country's largest, could be producing up to 1.1 million barrels a day, Crear said. Workers said production at Rumeila had been shut off just before the start of the war on March 20. The eventual target is to get Iraq back up to its prewar production levels of 2.8 million barrels a day, Crear said.

Well this is certainly another intelligent move by this administration. Arab oil going to finance the "jewish infidels," courtesy of the puppet zionists from the west?
Oh jeez I can see how Al-Jazeera and their ilk are going to spin this one. Way to go Bush "We don't give sh*t what the rest of the world thinks. You're with us or against us!" Administration......

Call me crazy, but AFAIK Israel doesn't border Iraq, not even close. How exactly is this "Iraqi-Israeli" pipeline is going to be build? Who's to say that Jordan will go along with it?

Its only going to happen if Jordan OKs it. Then they'd be zionist lovers too.

If built, I hope they put an armed guard along every 50 foot of this pipeline.

Like a lot of things in this mess this is mostly speculation so we don't have enough information to determine whther it is a good or bad thing.
I think a good thing for the region would be to try to tie these countries together economically. It might give them something else to consider besides killing each other in the name of religion.
Also consider the potential of running a pipeline into a Gaza strip port city. There are a lot of ways of letting everyone benefit from the dreaded black gold.
Is this the same kind of pipe they use in bongs by any chance?

Good to see the Guardian is still working hard to carry their anti-US tradition in full force. Between them and the BBC, they make Al Jazeera look like a bunch of girl scouts. :)
Israel always did buy oil from Iraq. If there was some sort of alleged talks of building a pipeline, it would only be a move to reduce long term costs of shipping/receiving. People seem to forget how Sadamm threatened to turn off the oil lines to the USA and Israel several times in the past... so it doesnt take a rocket scientist to equate that oil pipeline or not, oil has, always will be flowing from Iraq to anywhere in the world.
Not as though I believe anything read at the Guardian to have any merit. If a CIA person was overheard referring to ancient history from pre-1948, they would immediately break the story that mumblings were some Zionist plan by the evil Americans. I particularly like their wording in the article which tells the whole story- on how the USA "conquered" Iraq, etc.etc. lol.
The Guardian is now regarded by some as being Anti-Arab in their slant.
I guess reality has a shifting effect depending on which eyes you view it from.
:)
Yeah, French think they are anti-French, Arabs think they are anti-Arab, etc...
For example this article could look like pro-US http://www.guardian.co.uk/worldlatest/story/0,1280,-2597979,00.html
The Iraq to Haifa pipeline was closed back in the 50's. Ive never read there has been any oil sales to Israel since then... I dont think its good to reopen that pipeline yet. It should be doable when Israel has made peace with the palestinians tho...
