Anyone have some example documents that I could use to get an idea how to use?

I've always used Word, but now I have a proffessor who insists on publishing only with LaTeX.

I will look for some and send you. But try to use Scientif Workplace, type or make anything and check after how the commands were made. Don´t put pics at first, doing this you will mess up the code.
